Have you noticed the recent attraction
to UFOs and aliens? They seem to be a part of everything, everywhere
a person goes. They are seen regularly on TV, and there are many
popular movies and books written about them. There are stuffed
animals and balloons made of them, also cups, stickers, and even
guitar picks that have their faces on them. There are bumper stickers
telling us to believe in them. Everywhere we go and everything
we do, we usually end up seeing their faces somewhere. Why is
this? Especially when we hear that they abduct people against
their will and perform experiments on them. Still, they are very
popular. What had started out in fear years ago has now turned
to faith in them among our society. They have become a new religion.
THE NEW
AGE MOVEMENT
Many in the New
Age movement believe in an "evolutionary quantum leap"
or "paradigm shift" from which these Aliens will intercede
in the world's normal affairs. Some New Agers who refer themselves
as channelers (those who communicate with spirit entities) have
said that they have communicated with these Aliens and have been
told that anyone not prepared or ready for this evolutionary jump
will be taken (or abducted) out of the way. These aliens have
even been called "counselors" who will help us through
the many changes that are coming to this earth. They also claim
that they are our "creators".
THE BIBLE
The Bible, God's
word, teaches us much differently. It teaches us
that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back for His church (all
who have accepted Him as Lord and Savior). This is called the
Rapture of the Church. Believers wait for this blessed hope. "For
the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with
the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the
dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain
shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the
Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore
comfort one another with these words". (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18)
A
DELUSION
The Bible warns
us that there is going to be a great deception in the last days.
"Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan
with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness
of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received
not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this
cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe
a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth,
but had pleasure in unrighteousness" (II Thessalonians
2:9-12). The Bible is telling us all who refuse the truth
of God's son Jesus Christ and refuse to accept Jesus, as their
Lord and Savior will believe in these deceptions. If we reject
the truth that God has given us in His Son Jesus, God has no choice
but to let us believe this lie of Satan.
A FALSE
GOSPEL?
Are these aliens
really creatures from outer space, or are they of a demonic nature?
Could this be a part of the strong delusion that the Bible
speaks about? No one knows except God, but He does make it clear
in His word that we should not have anything to do with something
that preaches another Gospel. "But though we, or an
angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than
that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed"
(Galations 1:8). The Aliens are preaching a New Age Gospel
and their main concern seems to be to change the way people think
about God and to change the Bible, God's holy word. The Bible
is very clear that no one can change God's
word, or it is a lie. Satan only comes to steal, kill and destroy
(John 10:10). These abductions have ruined many people lives and
have lured others farther into occults practices. Satan will
become anything a person is willing to believe in order to lead
that person away from the true God of the Bible. "And
no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed
as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according
to their works" (2 Corinthians 11:14-15).
JESUS
WILL RETURN!
When Jesus returns
for His saints, all true born-again Christians will be taken off
this earth to be with their Lord Jesus. Will Satan's lie be that
aliens abducted all of these Christians? Remember, Satan is the
Father of lies and what would be a better excuse for him than
to tell such a story to the world which has so hastily come to
accept aliens. "Woe unto them that call evil good,
and good evil" (Isaiah 5:20).
THE TRUE
GOSPEL
God does not
want you to be deceived by this false gospel the aliens are proclaiming.
He loves you. He wants you to make His son Jesus Christ the Lord
of your life. He wants you to be saved. "For God so
loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world;
but that the world through him might be saved" (John
3:16-17).
The Bible tells us, "For all have sinned, and come
short of the glory of God; and, the wages of sin
is death". Because of man's sinfulness, Jesus shed
His blood and died on the cross so mankind could be forgiven.
Three days later, He rose from the dead and ascended back into
heaven. He is still a living Lord and Savior! "Jesus
saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man
cometh unto the Father, but by me" (John 14:6).
Today there are many lies in the world and many people
do not know what to believe. My prayer for anyone reading this
tract is that you would pray to God and ask Him to show you the
truth. "Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to
you" (James 4:8). "And ye shall seek me, and find
me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart" (Jeremiah
29:13). If you truly seek God with all of your heart,
He will show you the truth.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord
Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him
from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth
unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto
salvation" (Romans 10:9-10).
To receive the Lord Jesus Christ into your life right
now, just say a simple prayer like the one below, meaning it with
all your heart:
Dear Lord God, I come to You a sinner and I humbly repent.
I believe that Jesus is Lord and I believe You raised Him from
the dead. Come into my life and be my Lord and Savior. I receive
You, Jesus, to change and take control of my life that I may live
for You from this day forth and from now on. Thank You Lord for
saving me and cleansing me with Your precious blood. In Jesus'
name, Amen.
If you have called on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and
have said that prayer or a prayer similar to it in your own words,
and have believed it with all your heart, you will be saved! Words
mean nothing without belief. If we truly believe we will let Christ
change us and we will rejoice to live for Him each and every day.
"But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love
of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him" (I John
2:5)

very important steps to take as a new Christian seeking to
grow in the Lord:
1). Read the Bible daily (A good place
to start is in the New Testament with the Gospel of John).
2). Pray daily.
3). Find a Bible believing church that preaches the full
gospel of Christ. Pray that God will lead you to the right one.
Fellowshipping with other believers is a very important step to
grow in the Christian walk.
