LOST AND FOUND
Have you ever been lost? Have you ever been separated from your parents for just a short time in a large crowd of people? How did you feel? Being lost is no fun, it can be very scary depending on where it might be.

I once met a young girl around 12 years old. She had gotten separated from her family on the boardwalk at Wildwood beach. If you've ever been to the shore, the Wildwood boardwalk is very big and has thousands of people who walk it every night in the summer.
I noticed her because she stuck out in the crowd. She was crying and looked very sad.

I asked her if I could help her. She told me she was lost, even though I tried to be nice to her she seemed scared and didn't want to trust me. She walked away from me and later I noticed that she had found a security man. After this, I do not know what happened to her. I prayed that she would be found by her family.

It can be a terrible thing to be lost and separated from those you love and not be sure who you can trust to help. Especially when you're surrounded by strangers.

Did you know that unless a person belives and comes to Jesus Christ, they are lost? The Bible says; "But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear" (Isaiah59:2). This verse says that our iniquities (means sins) have separated us from God and He has hid His face from us.This is what it means to be spiritually lost. This is much worst then to be physically lost as the girl on the boardwalk was.

But the good news is, we can be found by God.This is why Jesus died so we would not have to be separated from God.

"For the Son of man (Jesus) is come to save that which was lost" (Matthew 18:11).

Unless we take Jesus to be our Lord and savior we are lost and separate from God, because of our sins. This is a very scary place to be, both in this life and the life to come.

Nothing is more important then to ask the Lord for His forgiveness and ask Him to be your Lord and Savior.

The angels of God our even filled with joy when a person repents (repent means to be sorry and turn away from your sins).
