Christ died for our sins, He was buried, and He rose again
the third day (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). |

After
Jesus was buried in the tomb for three days, His body rose from
the dead and was alive again. The grave was empty! This is good
news, because Jesus will also raise us from the dead one day.

The
Resurrection of Jesus Christ is very important because: |
1).
We must understand
that if Christ was dead, He could not save us. Jesus Christ had
to overcome death so He could defeat sin. (1 Corinthians 15:14; 17).
2). In order to be saved and go to
heaven, a person has to believe in the resurrection of Christ
(Romans
10:9).
