"For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. (2 Corinthians 11:13-15).

The Bible says that Satan can appear as an angel of light! This means that Satan will be soooo convincing that the person(s) he appears to will think that they have actually heard from God.

Imitate - means to copy or counterfeit.

Remember this is what happened to Joseph Smith the founder of the Mormon church. He was deceived by what appeared to be a messenger of light. How do we know this? Because Mormonism contradicts the Bible consistently.

This is why it is so important to know what God's word says about things, so we will not be deceived.
